One of the MWAPB's on my network keeps having connection failures whereas the others do not.

All have the same setup and same firmware, One (which has been replaced 3 times) degrades from new, over about a month, until it fails to hold a steady connection. then its useless and cannot be connected to the AP, even when its in the same house....it ends up being a door stop.

Any suggestions????

Hi there,

Definitaly has to be something environmental if it's causing the same problem with multiple units. Are you running anything out-of-the-ordinary like an external antenna or POE ?

Mounted on your roof ? Properly grounded ? With all these storms of late I have heard of people damaging their units just off the amount of static in the air (search these forums and you will find it).

@kylra, thats a very strange thing thats happening, I am interested to know whats causing this problem. What sort of antenna and feed are you using? where is the minitar mounted? Could it be excessive heat buildup? it sounds like the rf fet is being stressed over time causing it to fail, but i'm only guessing.
