I am not getting a very good connection with the Minitar and was wondering if the receive sensitivity might be to blame? I get a beautiful signal strength/connection with my Orinocco 70mW card. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with similar problems.

Can't say we have heard anything reported. I do have the reciever sensitivity specs somewhere here if you want me to find them.

Perhaps I would get better results if I set it up differently? I am currently in Infrastructure mode - any ideas?

You could try setting the MNWAPB to AP Mode only. This might help.
Try playing with a couple of the settings with no encryption would be the best suggestion. SB |

when you mean "bad" do you mean compared to card to card?
IF SO remember pcmcia cards are horz polarization and the ap is vertical, so that case lay the ap sidewards (IMG:http://www.minitar.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) btw to add to this, Ive run this ap in client mode for a week @15km threw another repeater that was using 2 of these units,, worked no worries (besides slowness from the 802.11b timeing) |

So what your saying is if I turn my Vagi Antenna through 90 degrees I would probably get an improvement?
