Has anyone ever been able to use WEP encryption in a 2 or more AP WDS setup? I've tried to set it up on my network, and both AP's crash, needing factory resets. I'm going to roll some cable to the 2nd (non-Ethernet connected) AP soon because I'm sick of half-speed transfer rates, but in the mean time, has anybody ever been able to do this?

Yes. I have 5 AP in WDS mode with 64 bit WEP encryption, there is two encryption - one between AP to AP and second AP to Client.

Yes, two MNWAPB"s bridged in WDS mode with 4 seperate clients moving between the two. 2.53 firmwares.

I have 2 APs using WEP, WDS and also set a list of allowed MAC adresses all running over 7.5km link. F/w 2.39 i think(havent upgraded it for ages - it's not broken!)
