I know you guys know about statio-infra mode locking up with wep enabled, but im also seeing it lock up from time to time without wep..

in the past two weeks its happened twice to me..

the unit doesnt pass any data, and the web server is also not available... only way to fix is to power cycle the unit..

True, I have seen the same. It's the same problem - basically if the link between the two MNWAPB's isn't excellent and it has todo a lot of reprocessing of packets then it gets to the point where the unit has todo so much work it flatlines the capacity of the hardware and crashes.

Add on the additional processing requirements for WEP and it just makes it more common to occur.

For the time being taking steps to improve the signal strength between your units is a good move.

Engineer's are trying to streamline certain processes in the unit to cutdown on the amount of work required but it's not a trivial fix unfortunatly.

decided to get 2 senao ap3's instead.. (one flashed to a cb3)
figured may aswell hit two birds with the one stone..

first off they dont lockup
and 2nd off the connection will be better with the higher output and better sensitivity (which is the minitar had, may not lock up as often or at all anyways)

now i just have to offload 2 minitars somewhere smile.gif
