Can someone tell me if the minitar supports the following standard when used in client bridge point - point mode with non minitar end point.

Client-Bridge Mode will associate only with those Access points which support "Address 4" field in IEEE 802.11b Specifications.

Can't say im afraid - I do know that the Minitar will associate in P-T-P to other non-Minitar AP's, what brand are you specifically trying to associate with ?

Hi I am pretty sure it works i have mine in bridge mode client at the moment to dlink 2000+ over 2.4km away. However I should propably check exactly what settings i have, but its definitly in bridge mode. As to weather it does anything more than ping between two points I am not sure yet still building...
I have found the pings to be very high tho averaging around 150 for some reason
will post more info tomorow night.

Yes it was definitly point to point , the ping issues were on dlink end and persisted even after changing modes and a hard reset, ...power off for 10 minutes fixed it. Now no longer running in point to point mode but i am happy with stability of the minitar in client mode fw ver 2.53. smile.gif
By the way point to point didnt work for me first shot and after trying some of the other bridge modes i came back to point to point and it worked...no different settings or anything so you might wanna try a couple of times.
