I recently bought a Lexmark X5250 - (don't ask why!) to replace my old inkjet printer. Is there any way to continue to use the USB print server to allow all connected machines to print, while also using the scan and fax facilities of the device?

Only the Print functionality may work depending on the compatiblity is with the MN54G4R. The scan and fax will not work with the MN54G4R as the unit only contains software for a print server.
