I have noticed that the 2.39 firmware has been added to the website. Is this different to the beta firmware that was tested and has the list of bugs fixed or is it the beta firmware?

As far as we know it's the same as the BETA firmware. We are still trying to track this down with the OEM but felt for the time being it's best to release the firmware so that people that people who have a mix of old and new units can be running the same firmware.

We will keep you up to date with what the OEM says about the existing known 2.39 issues.

i have found that the 2.39 v has once again broken dhcp passthrough from the wired Lan to the wireless clients. This was fixed in 2.34. i have downgraded to 2.34 again and wait in suspense for the next version of the firmware.

That issue infact was reported to the OEM when we initially beta-tested 2.39. We are on their backs about it.

In regards to the 2.39 firmware, one feature i would like back is the ability to log in on the serial console... having to use 2.20 so i can have a look around the device and change things manually is a bit painful considering its apparent bugs.

A few other things that i wouldnt mind seeing are things like a syslogd of some form, so logs of who associated with (or who wardrove rolleyes.gif) my ap and similar information can be sent to a server somewhere else on the network for recording, and potentially a way of using snmp to manage the device.

Those type of features are really what the community wants to add to the device and really, they are probably the only way they will get added.

We have requested the password for 2.39 from the OEM but have had no response.
