ahem. Upgraded to 2.39 tonight/this morning/sometime when I was bored

Pleased to say that MAC rewrites have indeed been removed from the code as far as I can tell - the usuall guff I did to work around it I dont have to do.

Just leaves me with one problem - which I suspect is a layer 2 failure with my LAN card, which I will look at replacing this week.
